Children’s Sunday School

“Train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Children’s Sunday School
meets on Sunday morning during the worship hour. Children will attend the first few minutes of the worship service with their family. Following the Children’s Message, the Director of Family Ministries and a group of volunteer Sunday School teachers will escort the children to the Sunday school classrooms, where they are divided into age-appropriate learning groups.

Safety and security are very important to us. We ask that all families with children Sunday School age (ages 3 years old – 5th grade) sign in before worship at the Children’s Ministry table located at the entrance to the sanctuary. Children must be signed out by a parent at the end of Sunday School from the Resource Room.

Interactive Bible games, music, crafts and snacks all engage children in meaningful Christian lessons that help the word of God come alive. Our Sunday school classes follow the Holy Moly curriculum. Students enjoy a short animated video that allows them to see and hear the Bible in a fun and entertaining way. Take-home sheets are available so parents can track what their children are learning each week.

Our Children’s Ministry engages in regular mission work, fun outings, and seasonal celebrations. Some of the highlights of our year include Rally Day, the Church Picnic, Family Fun Days, Strawberry Festival, the Live Nativity, Youth Sunday, Birthday Party for Jesus, and summer movie and pizza parties.

Children with special needs are welcome.

During the summer, we all meet together, which allows children to be a little more laid back with fun interactive lessons, creative Bible crafts, snacks, and games.

We hope you will join us this Sunday!
