Our congregation is dedicated to the education and nurturing of our youth. Our goal is to become their home for faith, friends, fellowship, community service and fun — providing a safe place and caring support for them during their teen years.

We’re not just for church members!

All middle school and high school youth are welcome to attend the weekly and numerous special activities designed just for them.

Youth Group Sunday devotion is from 9:30 – 9:50 a.m. in the Youth Room. Please refer to our calendar under the What’s Happening tab above for our Sunday School schedule. If it is not listed before worship, we are not meeting on that day. We also take time off during the summer.

Following Sunday School, we reserve seats in the sanctuary for youth who would like to sit together.

Sunday Evening Youth Group takes place from 5 – 7 p.m. in the Youth Room.  Dinner is included. Please refer to our calendar for our schedule.

T-shirts: The Youth Group designed their own T-shirts.  They are available upon request.

Youth Group Breakfast – Our middle school Youth meet once a month for breakfast at 8 a.m. for some fellowship and fun before school.

Youth Group Dinner – Our high school Youth meet once a month on Friday for dinner at 6 p.m.

Rock the Universe at Universal Orlando

Rock the Universe at Universal, Orlando: Rock the Universe is now in February. We have such an amazing time at this event each year! We spend Saturday and Sunday during the day at the parks, riding rides and eating way too much food. On Friday and Saturday nights, we dance and sing at the top of our lungs with some of our favorite Christian rock bands. It is an amazing weekend fill with the love of Christ and music dedicated to Him.

Youth Christmas Party: Each year the group picks what they would like to do for their Christmas party. Last year we went to Flying Panda Extreme Air Sports Trampoline Park for some bouncing fun and then to dinner at Cracker Barrel, where we had a white elephant gift exchange.

Youth Group Lock-ins – We have two lock-ins each year, one on New Year’s Eve and one at the end of summer right before school starts. We go to dinner and some other event such as the movies, horseback riding, ice skating, or mini golf. We also have a devotion, play games, dance, sing, and watch movies. This is a great time that the kids really look forward to all year!

Souper Bowl of Caring – The Youth Group sponsors this event each year to help fight hunger in our area. They collect food items from church members and preschool families, then give them to a local food pantry.  Thank you to everyone who helps make this event such a success!

Gleaning – We look forward to joining other members of the congregation to glean each year. We support CROS Ministries food banks by picking any left over fruits or vegetables at area farms. This year we helped collect over 9,000 pounds of tomatoes and this produce was donated to help feed the hungry in our community.

Strawberry Cafe – The Youth Group does an amazing job supporting the annual Strawberry Festival by serving in the Strawberry Cafe.

Youth Spring Retreat – Each year we join other Youth Groups from our Presbytery at the Lake Placid Christian Camp for a weekend of devotion, games, campfires, s’mores and fun!

Youth Sunday – The Youth Group did an amazing job leading the service on Youth Sunday. They presented a skit entitled, “In God’s Image.” We see ourselves in positive ways and in ways that are not always so positive, but God always sees us in the most wonderful ways possible, an image of Himself, and He wants to show the world what He looks like through us.

Summer fun activities – We have lots of fun going to lunch, bowling, and the movies throughout the summer.

Mission Trip – Each year we spend a week on a mission trip to help others. This year, the Youth will be traveling to Daytona Beach. We will be working with Youth Works to help in the local community. Some examples of that work are helping at the Salvation Army, at a local church teaching Vacation Bible School, or at a soup kitchen.

Our upcoming events can be found on the What’s Happening page and the calendar.

Come join us for all our activities and invite a Friend!
