Sunday School Christmas Bake Sale

Who doesn’t love those Christmas cookies? We sure do! Our Sunday School children will be baking up a delicious helping of Christmas cookies to share with the congregation on Dec. 17th. Each package is baked with love, packaged with care, and delightfully delivered into the hands of those we love! This is a fundraiser that helps support our Family Ministries travel fund, which allows our children and youth to go on retreats and mission trips. Thank you for your sweetness!

Sunday, December 17th at 6 p.m.

The Live Nativity

Everyone is invited to join us for the real Christmas story on the front lawn. Told again and again, the story never gets old. Take a special journey with us through Bethlehem, to the inn, and finally to the manger, as we witness the Christmas story come to life. A highlight of the evening is live nativity animals. Carol singing from the audience is welcome and everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket for comfortable outdoor seating.

Children are welcome to stay after the program and pet the animals. Cookies and cocoa are provided in the courtyard after the program. Come early for a good seat!

Sunday, December 24th at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Christmas Eve services

“For unto us a child is born.” Isaiah 9:6.

Please join us as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. The 10 a.m. service will be a traditional service and the 7 p.m. service will be a candlelight service.

Sunday, December 31st at 1 p.m – Monday, January 1st at 11 a.m.

Youth Group New Year’s Eve lock-in

The Youth Group is having their annual New Year’s Eve lock-in. We will meet a 1 p.m. on Sunday to go ice skating. Shannon reserved the party room at the ice skating rink and we will have pizza and cake. Afterward, we will go to dinner and then back to the church where we will be “locked in.”

At church we will have devotion, prayer time, singing, dancing, and games. At midnight, we will count down to the New Year and then continue with the fun!

This is such a fun-filled, exciting, and joyous event and we welcome all middle and high school youth to join us.

Please email Shannon at shannon@tequestapres.org for more information.
